There are a number of compatible optical transceiver suppliers to choose from in the market. AMC is a BOM (Bill of Materials) manufacturer with ‘manufacturer of record’ status. We do not source products from multiple manufacturers and assemblers to find the lowest cost products at any given time like most suppliers. We also do not source tier 2 and reworked components to cut costs like many manufacturers. AMC Optics uses a stringent BOM (Bill of Materials) and strict manufacturing and programming guidelines to ensure that our clients get the exact same product with the exact same reliability each and every time. With many “manufacturers” and/or brokers, you can order a certain product multiple times and get a number of different builds and components.
